Sugarcane Cultivation in India
Sugarcane cultivation is conducted according to the seasons of India's different regions. For example, in northern India, planting time is from January to March, while in the Deccan areas, the best planting season is from October to November.
As we know, the best cane time is based on the season of different regions of the country, and depends on soil structure; the soil should be well-drained, deep and loamy. The temperature should be between 27°C and 33°C.
There is management of different pests and diseases. For the systems of Early Shoot Borer, the heart is dead in 1–3-month-old crops, and for removal, deep harvesting is recommended.
In the case of the Top Borer, destroy the egg masses and apply Carbofuran.
For removing Red Rot, first remove the affected early-stage clumps and perform soil drenching with Carbendazim 50 WP. For the rust problem, spray tridemorph.
