Learn About Organic Manure, its Types and Benefits
Organic manure is crucial for farming. It enhances the soil health and makes it more fertile. Organic Manure is produced by decomposing the waste of animals and plants. It also has phosphorus, nitrogen, and potassium. There are two types of manners, Bulky and Concentrated, and they are also further divided.
Bulky organic matter constitutes a small percentage of the total nutrient intake, but it is used in large quantities. This approach is also divided into three types: Green, Farm Yard, and Compost Manure.
Growing plants as a crop is called green manure. After they mature, they are ploughed into the soil to enhance its fertility and physical structure. The mixed of cattle dung and urine with leftover food of farm animals is known as farmyard manure. Composed matter is made up of animal waste, farming waste, vegetables, and domestic waste.
Concentrated Organic Manure contains rich nutrients and is slow-release, made with oil cakes, as well as blood meal and fish manure. Compared to Bulky Manure, it has higher nutrient content.
Benefits of Organic manners
They contain macronutrients and micronutrients, which provide essential nutrients to the plants. It enhances the physical health of the soil, making it more nutrient-rich. It's less costly compared to chemical fertilisers.
